Botanical Characteristic
Small tree or shrub, 2-8 meters tall with smooth young branches. Simple opposite leaves, elliptic or obovate, acute apex, cuneate base. White fragrant flowers in terminal cymes. Ellipsoid fruits, black when ripe.
