Botanical Characteristic

Small to medium-sized tree, 5-15 meters tall with straight unbranched stem. Odd-pinnate compound leaves with oblong-lanceolate leaflets. Paniculate inflorescence with reddish-purple flowers. Ellipsoid fruits, dark red when ripe.
